In my opinion, the editor used very good words to express that the art is really important, for example, the art can open the mind of a lot of people who do the same things every day, giving several ideas of new things to discover and do on a daily basis.
My motivation to write to the editor is the homework that the teacher asked for.
I don't have a personal example, but you can see many examples in the everyday life of most people.
