About the article ,'' A world on artistic political correctness '' , we agree that we must differentiate cultural appropriation from cultural appreciation , wich are very different things and that we should be delicate to that question. Our motivation to write to the editor was because of school work but we ended up really enjoying doing it.
We find cultural appropriation in the world of art bad , because it is as if they are trivializing a cultural , which is used in these media without any necessity , since there are actors that are of those cultures that are appropriating.And as the text tell us : '' it can take many forms , ... to a singer wearing a SAREE , a traditional indian dress in a musi video that is clearly not indian.'' in contrast to all this , one has the cultural appreciation , which in our view , has more to do with being interested in a culture , learling the language and customs of it. We don't see anything wrong with that.
Therefore , as a consequence of this appropriation there is disrespect. That should be solved with it's previoesly said opposite as appreciation through tribites to another cultures deserve. So be alternative to the opinion on the subject so as not to be placed as ridiculous something that may have it's importance even historical or religious.
