This article express many things that i think about art and imagination. In my opinion, Esther Davis could summarize an open perspective about art.
The author was able to find every single word to say exactly what he wanted. I really think we should feel free to express art in a variety of ways, in the way we understand it. My teacher asked me to write this letter, so that was my motivation. But I found it interesting to read the text and do the activity.
But even this freedom to produce many things can be bad. It is not right to go out dressed as a brazilian Indian, for example.
I, for example, have seen black people feel offended by some white person, blonde and with Afro hair. I agree, because this has a history that must be respected, and it's not just fashion.
