I am writing to agree with the article \u201cA Word on Artistic Political Correctness\u201d. I think the limitless art is under atack nowadays because most people appropriate the other cultures as they want in movies series or musics without thinking the consequences, they dont reflect if that appropriation will disrespect or offend some culture, religion, orientation or gender.Art can rather criticizes the bad behaviors or satirize the good ones as long as there is respect doing that<\/p>\n
A few days ago, I watched a movie where a black Arabian guy was representing a terrorist , a trafficant.Moreover, Americans also adapt mangas and stories of other cultures without giving due representation to that culture, using only American actors. This can not happen!<\/p>\n
Therefore, people need to understand what this “limitless art” means, that is, understand that when art offends or disrepect a group or even a single person , it is not art.Besides, nowadays it is almost impossible to know what is really the art. In technology\u00b4s age, we are bombed by a lot of information and we can\u00b4t differentiate art from nonsense.Always rembember culture appropriation is quite different from culture appreciation<\/p>\n
